Today I'm going to show you how to make a mini wall hanging using the Flip and Stitch method making the petals of a daisy.
Follow along and have fun!
To make the daisy petal with the Stitch & Flip method:
Cut contrasting fabrics-one 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" and two 2" x 2" squares.
Draw a diagonal line on the wrong sides of the small squares.

Place a small square on the corner of the large square, right sides together.
This is your sewing line.

Next, pin and sew on the line.
HINT: I like to sew on the outside of the line just a smidge away from the corner. Doing so enables the corner to flip much easier. Let me know if this helps you.

Using a ruler to measure, trim seam to 1/4", (sometimes I eyeball it and use my scissors).

Press corner open.

Continue on the opposite corner to make another one.
I used coordinating fabrics to make the mini wall hanging you see below using the Stitch & Flip method. Very easy and comes together pretty quickly.
Thank you for visiting my site.
Happy Quilting!
